South Florida Cornhole is excited to host the Shipyard Brewing Company National Championships of Bags Tournament (COB) at Mellow Mushroom in Ft. Lauderdale, FLon August 8th, 2015.

This event is the last of a series of tournaments in Florida and serves as the state cornhole championship of bags for Florida.

qualifier for nationals. A percentage of proceeds from this event will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.

The state tournament will have a guaranteed $500 cash prize pool.

This is an open tournament with a cash buy-in for you to compete to win cash and qualify for the ATL Championships. For those who finish Top 16 at the states, it’s on to the national tournament August 28 – 30 at the Benchwarmers Sports Complex in Mooresville, NC   This indoor sports complex features indoor turf and basketball courts with intimate viewing areas.   The Final format will be announced no later than the end of July.  The Top 16 Players representing each State will compete for cash prizes in Singles and Doubles.  The top overall State will win custom jerseys.  There will be open events for the public. Read the Complete rules and structure.

Aug 8th CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT INFO:

Mellow Mushroom – Ft. Lauderdale – 525 N Federal Hwy #500, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

• Singles play at 12pm – $20/person ($15 if pre-registered online below)
• Bring your own partner Doubles tournament to follow – $40/team ($30/team if pre-registered online below)
• if time allows, a $15 blind draw to follow. 

Beer specials include $4 Shipyard pints during match play.

Tournaments are open to anyone 18+. A portion of the entry fee goes to state and national level championships. The top 16 singles advance to the National Finals. The National finals are being seeded with $5,000 and that prize pool grows with participation in all the local and state tournaments.
